Blade & Soul utilizes a unique weapon progression system where you will essentially be using the same weapon throughout your time in Blade & Soul.
Players will be given the Hongmoon weapon at first which is the weapon that will be evolved all the way up to the current max level.
You can amplify your weapon so that it will gain exp so it can level-up in Stages. Every stage 5 will require a Breakthrough, the weapon is usually found from a Fieldboss. Every Stage 10 requires a weapon from a boss and that will be the next weapon’s appearance and name after breakthrough.
