Maplestory’s Arcane River Update unlocked 5th Job for every class.
Pre-requisites
In order to obtain 5th Job, players must complete 4 requirements.
- Lvl 200
- Pink Bean Prequest
- Amnesiac Temple Keeper Questline
- Either Easy/ Magnus or Magnus Prequest
5th Job Quest
After the update has been released and you meet the requirements, you will receive a Quest from the lightbulb tab.
To advance to 5th Job, players must collected 3 Arcane Stones from The Goddess of Masteria, Maple World and Grandis. You can find them through distinct portals at Corrupted World Tree, Bowman Instructional School and Great Temple Interior in that respective order.
Goddess of Masteria Quest
The Goddess Of Masteria is the portal at the Corrupted World Tree Town. In order to obtain her Arcane Stone, she’ll make you find one of her portals located randomly in one of the maps in Dark World Tree. It’s usually closer to Damien.
Goddess Of Maple World Quest
Maple World’s Goddess is the portal in the Bowman Instructional School and she just gives you the Arcane Stone.
Goddess of Grandis
The Goddess of Grandis is located at the portal at the Great Temple Interior, she will sent you on a quest to go defeat Magnus (Difficulty doesn’t matter).
Arcane Stones
Upon getting all these Arcane Stones, you will have to activate them. There can only be one Arcane Stone activated at once and it will take 2 hours online time to active it. Upon finishing an Arcane Stone, there is a 8 hour downtime before being able to start the next Arcane Stone.
While your Arcane Stone is being activated, you can gain EXP and it will go into the Arcane Stone for the maximum of 500M XP, essentially being able to give you a maximum 1.5B of free experience. Upon finishing all the Stones which takes a minimum of 22 hours to complete, you will receive the extra experience gained by the Arcane Stones in EXP Potions.
After completing all the Arcane Stones, you will now advance to 5th Job and gain access to your V-Matrix alongside be rewarded with your 5th Job Skill Node.
