Overwatch – Uprising

Overwatch’s newest event Uprising is now live until May 1st. The event includes a PvE story  fixed-hero mission and an arcade version that doesn’t have fixed-heroes.

Get ready for the ultimate recall. Our latest seasonal event turns back the clock, giving you the chance to relive a pivotal moment in Overwatch history. Explore the stories behind some of your favorite heroes, unlock pieces of the past with over 100 declassified Loot Box items, or suit up with your friends and join Tracer on her very first mission in a brand-new cooperative brawl.

New Loot Boxes

As with every new event, there’s always a new type of loot boxes coming with it to reward event exclusive cosmetics.

Diablo 3 – Season 9

Diablo 3’s Season 9 ladder has begun and it’s going off Patch 2.4.3 which doesn’t really have any new additions to the game except a few new legendaries and set changes that warrant little to no change to meta-builds since Season 7. Similar to Season 8, the season is going to be lackluster and burn-out is going to happen very soon when all season journey rewards have been claimed.

 

Overwatch – Winter Wonderland 2016

Overwatch is the 2nd Blizzard game to start their Christmas event. Overwatch‘s Winter Wonderland Event will be available from December 13th to January 2nd.

New Loot

The Winter Wonderland Event brings the new Winter Loot Boxes that reward Christmas themed cosmetics for the duration of the event.

New Game Mode

Overwatch’s Winter Wonderland also brings a new Brawl, Mei’s Snowball Offensive. It’s a 6v6 single-elimination match consisting of only Mei’s that are able to shoot only one slow one-shot snowballs. If you run out of Snowballs, you’re going to have scavenge the map to find more.

If you are able to get Mei’s Ultimate, your snowball launcher will no longer be single-fire and becomes semi-automatic.

Heroes of the Storm – Winter Veil 2016

Heroes of the Storm is the first of the blizzard games to announce their Christmas events. Starting December 14th and lasting until January 4th, Heroes of the Storm will be having the Winter Veil 2016 event.

Winter Veil 2016‘s Special Event consist of players finishing 25 games excluding Heroes Brawl alongside have 25% Bonus XP for all matches. For completing 25 games, players will receive a Snowflake Portrait and a Festive Treasure Goblin Mount.

Winter Veil 2016 will also have a bunch of new bundles including returning bundles.

Overwatch – Sombra

Sombra, the next Overwatch character has finally been revealed at Blizzcon. She is an offensive character that uses a Machine Pistol and is able to utilize stealth and disabling abilities to disrupt enemies heroes or flank them.

Ability	Description
Hack	Sombra hacks enemies to temporarily stop them from using their abilities, or hacks first aid kits to make them useless to her opponents.
Thermoptic Camo	Sombra becomes invisible for a short period of time, during which her speed is boosted considerably. Attacking, using offensive abilities, or taking damage disables her camouflage.
TRANSLOCATOR	Sombra tosses out a translocator beacon. She can instantly return to the beacon’s location while it is active (including when it’s in mid-flight).
EMP	Sombra discharges electromagnetic energy in a wide radius, destroying enemy barriers and shields and hacking all opponents caught in the blast.

Hearthstone – Heroes Emerge: Medivh

The third of the new Heroes to be released onto Hearthstone is the all-powerful mage Medivh.
