Assassin’s Creed Origins | Curse of the Pharaohs

Ubisoft has released a gameplay and details video today for the upcoming second DLC of Assassin’s Creed Origins: Curse of the Pharaohs launching on March 13rd for both Season Pass and individual purchase.

Curse of the Pharaohs, the third major expansion for Assassin’s Creed Origins, takes Bayek to find a mysterious artifact in Thebes, where he immediately runs into much more than he bargained for. Instead of the shadowy-but-still-human Order of the Ancients, he finds undead pharaohs materializing in the streets and slaughtering civilians.

In Curse of the Pharaohs, the players will be fighting against previous Pharaoh both in the real world and in the afterlife plus some giant scorpions in all new locations such as Aaru. Player will be visiting each Pharaoh’s tombs and venturing into their afterlife, having a chance of obtaining unique items that can’t be found anywhere else.

Rainbow Six Siege | Outbreak

A gameplay & release trailer for Rainbow Six Siege‘s upcoming Event, Outbreak has been revealed today. The event will start on March 6th and will last until April 3rd which is roughly 4 weeks.

Check out the horrific new enemies and expansive new maps of the special Rainbow Six Siege co-op event, Outbreak. This gameplay video will show you what you and your teammates are up against, and give you tips to survive and succeed in the face of this new threat.

Rainbow Six Siege | New Operators: Lion & Finka

Rainbow Six Siege‘s upcoming Operation Chimera will include the addition of two new Operators: Lion & Finka. Although, the trailer released today doesn’t reveal much about their abilities, the website includes a bio and a loadout of each Operator.

“Being afraid of a disease is sometimes worse than the disease itself. There is no cure for fear, so either you surrender to it or you fight it until one of you wins.”

Finka delivers a nanobot shot to each operator before an operation. The nanites are made of zinc with the pharmacological cocktail laced into the nanobot’s construction. When she activates her signal, the nanobots disintegrate with the zinc being treated as a nutrient by the body and facilitating the absorption of the drugs. The operators receive a short boost of health to get them back on their feet, to give them an extra push, and to steady their aim.

“People died, and I hope I can find forgiveness for it, but what I did I did to save more lives. I’d do it again. That’s doing my job.”

EE-One-D allows Lion to survey hot zones and maintain quarantine protocols on missions. He uses it to detect movement in an area in order to determine if someone is breaking quarantine, curfew, or a perimeter.

Rainbow Six Siege | Outbreak Enemies

Last Week, Rainbow Six Siege revealed their next upcoming Co-op Event, Outbreak where 3 players will enter the quarantine zone in the city of Truth or Consequences and face the monstrosities that lurk there. The Outbreak Event will begin on March 6th and last until April 3th for all players, while it will be available on the test servers starting on Feb. 20th.

A few days ago, a mysterious space capsule crashed near Truth or Consequences in New Mexico. It turned out to be carrying an exotic parasite, the Apex, which infected the area and turned the town’s populace into monsters. The Quarantine Zone is the only thing keeping it contained but it will not last for long. If the parasite gets out, it would be a disaster of global proportions. Millions would die. Rainbow’s mission is to enter the devastated town and destroy the parasite’s roots before this happens.

Today, there released a new trailer and revealed the 5 enemies that players will be facing in this Co-Op Event: Grunts, Breachers, Rooters, Smashers and Apex.

Grunts are common hostiles that become highly resistant when the parasite detects an enemy presence. To protect its host, the parasite armors its body and becomes more resistant to bullet wounds. Caution and stealth is recommended.

Breachers are proximity bombs that crater anything in their path. They make for a very agile opponent, but they launch themselves into the fray and blow holes in indestructible walls. Make sure you are nowhere close to them.

Rooters are a rarer type of hostile. They send out coral spikes from the ground to injure and immobilize their targets. Rooters are always on the move and will keep you on edge. Beware when dealing them the final blow; they become extremely lethal when on the brink of death.

Smashers are not discreet. The parasite reinforces its body under a massively thick hide, making it practically impervious to bullet wounds. They will also tear down walls without suffering any injuries.

Apex is at the top of the hostile food chain. It sends waves of hostiles your way rather than attack you head-on. They can hurl blinding projectiles, which can only be countered by Finka and Doc. This opponent is a real test on your team’s communication skills.
