Other Announcements

Call of Cthulhu

Today, Focus Home Interactive announced another new title that’s going to be at E3, Call of Cthulhu.  Call of Cthulhu is a horror friction story game based on Chaosium’s pen & paper RPG.

In Call of Cthulhu, players will control Edward Pierce, a former veteran and private investigator in 1920s Boston. Pierce will be investigating the tragic and mysterious death of Sarah Hawkins and her family in Darkwater Island. The game’s E3 Trailer showcases this disturbing Island and the eerie Hawkins Family Mansion, and gives a glimpse at how the intensity of the investigation will slowly start chipping away at your Sanity.

Insanity and the Cthulhu Mythos have long been entwined – as your investigation brings you closer to Cthulhu’s sphere of influence, madness will progressively engulf your senses, leaving you to increasingly question what is real and what is illusory. They say that madness is the only way that can bring you to the truth and you will have to balance your sanity against your determination to discover it!

The Cthulhu Mythos has grown to become one of the largest shared universes ever envisioned, giving birth to countless stories, novels, and even movies ever since the original publication of Lovecraft’s The Call of Cthulhu.

Watch Dogs 2

The second major title to be announced this week after being leaked for a few days is Watch Dogs 2. Watch Dogs 2 has a initial release date of November 15th, 2016. More information will be revealed during E3 and hopefully there won’t be another graphical controversy.

Watch_Dogs 2 is an open world action-adventure game where the San Francisco Bay Area is your living playground and hacking is your weapon to bend the city – and its people – to your will. Step into the shoes of Marcus Holloway, a brilliant hacker, and journey to pull off the Hack of the Century: a crippling shutdown of ctOS 2.0, an invasive technology used by the powerful to silently control everyday citizens. Watch_Dogs 2 will be available on PlayStation®4 system, Xbox One, and Windows PC on November 15, 2016.

Street Fighter V – Ibuki

Street Fighter V’s next Fighter has been announced to be Ibuki. She currently has no release date and is probably going to be sometime in June.

Ibuki has always been a very mobile character with various target combos, but she now has even more ways to mix-up the opponent with the ability to glide through the air and toss out ninja bombs, making it very difficult to predict where she will land and where her next attack will come from.

Ibuki in Street Fighter V will retain to her quick playstyle with a bunch of new features that will enhance that playstyle. In Street Fighter V, she can stock only 5 Kunais at a time

V-Skill: Tenrai

Ibuki builds up energy and blasts it from her palm towards the opponent. The blast range is dependent on how long Tenrai is charged for.

V-Trigger: Isshaku Horokudama

Ibuki digs into her bag of ninja tools and throws a bomb at the opponent. Depending on which direction is held upon activation, the bomb can either go off quickly, after a slight delay or after a longer delay. Ibuki is extremely crafty and impatient, however, so there might be other ways to trigger the explosion.

The pinnacle of Ibuki’s ninjutsu training! Ibuki launches the opponent into the air, quickly following after them. She then performs a series of ninjutsu seals, culminating in a large scale blast to the opponent’s skull.
