Maplestory GMS v.168 – Hits Per Second/Minute Chart

I have compiled and calculated the Hits Per Minute & Hits Per Second of all the classes in GMS v.168 that I could do.


I used Southperry’s Extraction Data for the skill delays numbers. Some numbers were not provided and I attempted to estimate it to the closest I could. I majority only update the spreadsheet and the chart itself should be updated once every patch when and if there is an extraction for that patch.

Of course, as every Chart can only be base or theoretical,I have left out all additional hit skill such as Final Attack that have a chance of activating. If a skill has a +1 attack Hyperskill, it has been calculated in.

Kaiser’s Gigas Wave includes the use of Ryude’s sword which gaves him +1 attack.

Key for the Spreadsheet

  • Red – I don’t know how I can calculate it.
  • Blue – Data has changed for the newest patch and I don’t have the new Delays yet.
  • Orange – Uncertain Data.

  1. This might sound nitpicky but what about shadowers using midnight carnival if you are godly funded? Would hit more lines then any combination of 4th job skills and dps would be higher as well

    • I added it to the Spreadsheet but won’t be updating the chart a.t.m. You can suggest more skills because I mainly only did the 4th Job ones with Hyperskills.

  2. Some of these delays are super outdated. Demon Impact has been at around 950ms up until Reboot, where it was changed to 870ms (Not exactly sure, but it’s around there). Execution is also somewhere in 7xx ms, and it no longer has 3 hits (It never actually did; this chart should count for Exceed state Execution instead). It was changed to 6 hits in Reboot. The delay for Nether shield also sounds crazy. Nether Shields attack 8 times PER SHIELD (10 times if you add to the hyper passive), and each attack does 2 hits.
    Don’t take my word for the delays, but please look into it. I hope this helps.

    • I haven’t changed any of the delays because Southperry hasn’t provided me with an extraction for the Reboot Patch Delays, so I am not sure what the new delays are. (I’m not even sure if they can extract the data anymore) I also do not know how to Demon Avenger works and I can’t find any sources that tell me Execution has been changed to 6 hits, so I’m not sure about this. The reason Nether Shield’s delay is so wacky as you can see is because I calculated in for its cooldown of 6seconds which translate to 6000ms + the delay which = 6720ms.

  3. Are you thinking about updating this cuz these numbers are probably really wrong, just a quick look and I know that DBs have 6 hits on phantom blow, with mirror image making it 12 and a hyper that gives them 13

    • Sorry, I guess I accidentally minused the hyper rather than add. Also its 14 hits became you always factor in the hyper before multiplying the hits.

    • Kinesis’ skill delays have not been extracted, so I will not know their values. But visually ,Ultimate B.P.M should be top 15.

    • No they are not since I did not know that striker also had a shadow partner counterpart and cannoner had such a skill because I don’t play these characters and only pick from the highest hiting skills. I’ll be adding these in soon.

    • Thanks for pointing that out, your observation made me fix some other mistake such as me forgetting to add normal shadow partner to Night Walker’s skill.

  4. What about Corsair’s majestic presence which makes rapid fire hit twice? It should double his HPS, but the explosive bullets do 235% vs rapid fire 300% though

    • I’m not completely sure how Majestic Presence works since I don’t have a corsair to test it with but presumably it should double his HPS. Having the explosive bullet do 235% vs rapid fire’s 300% shouldn’t make any difference since the explosive bullet is an extra shot on top of rapid fire.
