Maplestory GMS v.168 – Skill Changes

Here are the new skill changes that come along with Maplestory Reboot. Some noticeable changes are Mihile’s new skills and Zero changes.


Explorer

  • Eckhart’s Vampire: At Master Level: 5% damage to HP healed changed to 7% of max HP healed.

Warrior

1st Job

  • Iron Body: At Master Level: Duration decreased from 300 sec to 200 sec.

Hero

2nd Job

  • Combo Attack: At Master Level: Attack Power for each Combo Count: +2.
  • Weapon Booster: At Master Level: Duration increased from 180 sec to 200 sec, Casting delay reduced.
  • Rage: At Master Level: Duration increased from 180 sec to 200 sec, Casting delay reduced.
  • Weapon Mastery: At Master Level: Damage +5% when equipped with an Axe.

3rd Job

  • Chance Attack: At Master Level: Damage has been changed from 125% to +25%.

4th Job

  • Raging Blow: At Master Level: 10% damage increase while Enrage removed. When in Enrage: Number of attacks: 7, Damage: 215%.
  • Enrage: Duration removed, skill can now be togged on or off.

Hyper Skills

  • Rising Rage: Casting delay reduced.

Paladin

2nd Job

  • Weapon Booster: Casting delay reduced.

3rd Job

  • HP Recovery: At Master Level: Recovery amount decreased from -5% to -10% when used repeatedly within 15 sec.
  • Combat Orders: At Master Level: Duration increased from 180 sec to 200 sec, Casting delay reduced.

4th Job

  • Blast: At Master Level: Damage decreased from 318% to 290%, Number of attacks increased from 7 to 8, duration increased from 45 sec to 90 sec, Elemental Charge is not consumed during Blast’s buff duration.
  • Heaven’s Hammer: Casting delay reduced.
  • Elemental Force: At Master Level: Duration increased from 180 sec to 200 sec. Casting delay reduced, Mastery level can go past level 30 with Combat Orders.
  • Guardian: At Master Level: Invincible duration decreased from 20 sec to 10 sec.
  • High Paladin: At Master Level: When equipped with a blunt weapon Ignore DEF increased from 5% to 10%, Maximum critical damage: +5%.

Hyper Skills

  • Smite Shield: Smite Shield now shares diminishing return with other stun skills.

Dark Knight

2nd Job

  • Weapon Booster: Casting delay reduced.
  • Iron Will: At Master Level: Duration reduced from 240 sec to 200 sec.
  • Hyper Body: At Master Level: Duration reduced from 300 sec to 200 sec.
  • Weapon Mastery: At Master Level: When equipped with a spear weapon attack speed increased, damage +5%.

3rd Job

  • Cross Surge: At Master Level: Duration increased from 180 sec to 200 sec, Casting delay reduced.
  • Lord of Darkness: At Master Level: Heal activation chance increased from 20% to 100%, 10% damage to HP healed changed to 5% of max HP healed.

4th Job

  • Gungnir’s Descent: At Master Level: Damage decreased from 312% to 250%, Number of attacks increased from 8 to 10.
  • Dark Impale: Attack range increased.
  • Sacrifice: Casting delay reduced.
  • Revenge of the Evil Eye: At Mater Level: 10% of damage to HP healed changed to 5% of max HP healed.

Hyper Skills

  • Nightshade Explosion: Damage increased from 300% to 330%, Max enemies hit increased from 8 to 10, Cooldown increased from 8 sec to 10 sec.
  • Dark Thirst: ATT increased from +60 to +80, 100% of damage to HP healed changed to 9% of max HP healed.

Magician

1st Job

  • Magic Guard: At Master Level: Duration decreased from 600 sec to 240 sec.
  • MP Boost: At Master Level: When equipped with a wand weapon Critical rate +3%.

Arch Mage (Fire, Posion)

2nd Job

  • Meditation: At Master Level: Duration increased from 180 sec to 240 sec.
  • Magic Booster: At Master Level: Duration increased from 200 sec to 240 sec, Casting delay reduced.

3rd Job

  • Elemental Adapting (Fire, Poison): Casting delay reduced.
  • Elemental Decrease: At Master Level: Duration decreased from 300 sec to 240 sec, Casting delay reduced.

  • Meteor Shower: Casting delay reduced.
  • Infinity: At Master Level: Damage decreased from 10% to 8%.
  • Ifrit: At Master Level: Duration increased from 160 sec to 260 sec.

Hyper Skills

  • Paralyze – Reinforce: Damage decreased from +20% to +10%.
  • Mist Eruption – Cooldown Cutter: Cooldown reduction decreased from -100% to -50%.
  • Megiddo Flame: Number of attacks increased from 6 to 9, Cooldown decreased from 90 sec to 50 sec, Casting delay reduced.

Arch Mage (Ice, Lightning)

2nd Job

  • Freezing Crush: At Master Level: Damage. Damage decreased from 8% to 6%.
  • Meditation: At Master Level: Duration increased from 180 sec to 240 sec.
  • Magic Booster: At Master Level: Duration increased from 200 sec to 240 sec, Casting delay reduced.

3rd Job

  • Thunder Storm: Casting delay reduced, Thunder Storm movement speed increased.
  • Elemental Adaptation (Ice, Lightning):Casting delay reduced.
  • Elemental Decrease: At Master Level: Duration decreased from 300 sec to 240 sec, Casting delay reduced.

  • Chain Lightning: At Master Level: Damage decreased from 300% to 255%, Number of attacks increased from 6 to 7.
  • Freezing Breath: Mastery level can go past level 30 with Combat Orders.
  • Blizzard: Casting delay reduced.
  • Elquines: Duration increased from 160 sec to 260 sec.

Hyper Skills

  • Teleport Mastery – Reinforce: Damage decreased from +20% to +10%.
  • Chain Lighting – Reinforce: Damage decreased from +20% to +10%.
  • Lightning Orb: Damage decreased from 700% to 300% Number of attacks increased from 1 to 7, Final damage increased from 1000% to 1500%, Cooldown decreased from 90 sec to 60 sec, Ignores damage reflect.

  • Divine Protection: Casting delay reduced.
  • Dispel: At Master Level: Cooldown increased from 0 sec to 8 sec, Cooldown decreased by 4 sec for each party member with a status cured.
  • Holy Symbol: At Master Level: Duration increased from 180 sec to 240 sec, Casting delay reduced.

4th Job

  • Angel Ray: At Master Level: 90% damage to HP healed changed to 20% of max HP healed.
  • Genesis: Casting delay reduced.
  • Big Bang: Animation has been updated.
  • Resurrection: Revived characters will now be invincible for 3 sec.

Hyper Skills

  • Righteously Indignant: Monster elemental resistance: -25%, Can use Teleport during Angel Ray.

  • Archer Mastery: Ability to use this skill without consuming arrows removed.

Bowmaster

2nd Job

  • Bow Booster: At Master Level: Duration increased from 180 sec to 300 sec, Casting delay decreased.
  • Soul Arrow: Bow: At Master Level: Duration increased from 180 sec to 300 sec.
  • Quiver Cartridge: At Master Level: Poison Arrows damage increased from 90% to 150%, Blood Arrows 20% damage to HP healed changed to 3% of max HP healed.

3rd Job

  • Arrow Platter: At Master Level: Set up damage increased from 125% to 140%, No longer activates Final Attack, Ignores damage reflect.
  • Marksmanship: At Master Level: Total damage by +15% removed, ATT: + 25%

4th Job

  • Hurricane: At Master Level: Damage increased from 300% to 330%.
  • Binding Shot: At Master Level: Number of attacks increased from 4 to 6.
  • Arrow Stream: At Master Level: Damage decreased from 380% to 350%, number of attacks increased from 4 to 5.
  • Illusion Step: At Master Level: Duration increased from 240 sec to 300 sec.
  • Enchanted Quiver: At Master Level: Poison Arrows damage increased from 110% to 220%, Blood Arrows 30% damage to HP healed changed to 5% of max HP healed. Cast delay removed.
  • Bow Expert: At Master Level: ATT increased from 30 to 60.
  • Armor Break: Activation chanced increased from 10% to 100%, stacks removed, Activation cooldown: 1 sec.

Hyper Skills

  • Hurricane – Reinforce: Damage increased from 20% to 25%, Applied to Arrow Platter.
  • Concentration: Buff cannot be dispelled.

Marksman

2nd Job

  • Crossbow Booster: At Master Level: Duration increased from 180 sec to 300 sec, Casting delay reduced.

If you guard successfully while in Attack Power Increase buff state, counterattack damage, attack range, and Attack Power increases gradually but the time for guarding decreases gradually. Attack Power stacks when guarding consecutively. Cooldown: 6 sec.

Night Walker

1st Job

  • Dark Elemental: Cast delay reduced.
  • Dark Sight: Will not be canceled by the attacks of Shadow Servant and Shadow Illusion.
  • Shadow Dodge: Cooldown increased from 0 sec to 5 sec.
  • Shadow Bat: At Master Level: 5% damage to HP healed changed to 1% of max HP healed.

2nd Job

  • Bat Affinity: Removed HP recovery.

3rd Job

  • Dark Servant: Maximum damage limit is affected by a proportion of attack power, Decreased skill delay, Not canceled when affected by abnormal status. Cast delay reduced.
  • Enveloping Darkness: At Master Level: Abnormal status resistance and Elemental Resistance decreased from 30% to 10%, Increased HP removed.
  • Bat Affinity II: Removed HP recovery.
  • Darkness Ascending: Not affected by cooldown reset.

4th Job
