The game from Bethesda that everyone’s been waiting for was announced earlier this month, and now at E3 they have announced a ton of new information and details!
The first thing shown was a montage of amazing concept art, and that was followed by the first look at character creation in the game.
Later on the beginning cutscenes were shown where the player allocates his/her SPECIAL points and runs with his/her family to Vault 111 only to be left behind as the nuke wipes them out. However, it turns out the player is the sole survivor and awakens 200 years later in a destroyed Boston where the game takes place. The landscape is scaled to make Boston bigger than it really is enhancing the size of the game and creating exponentially more possible discoveries and moments.
Fallout 4 utilizes Bethesda’s Next Generation Creation Engine enhancing the player experience when creating a character. There are no sliders, you mold your character from the start and you can choose from either Male or Female protagonist or antagonist. Fallout 4 promotes freedom, there’s always at least 3 or more choices such as in the trailer, where you meet up with Codsworth (Your own person-sized robot). When you meet up Codsworth, you aren’t stuck having to stay with him if you don’t feel like it. You can just walk way from him, stay with him, maybe even shoot him in the face. There’s no linear story line.
Fallout 4 has been hinted to have New Perks that were not announced during the E3 2015 Conference. One very special thing about Fallout 4 is that there is voice actors for the main characters, one male and one female. These voice actors have recorded over 13,000 lines of dialogue equaling about 2 years of work. One of the newer weapons announced is the Laser Rifle where “You crank it and let it lose”.
Numerous enemies are returning such as the generic raiders, sentry bots and Deathclaw. No need to fear all the unknown enemies apparent in Fallout 4 because the variety of customization gives your an immense arsenal of weapons to deal with them. Now if that is not enough, you now have a Dog companion.
A new mechanic for Fallout is Settlement Building where the player rebuilds their home (or just build a home anywhere in the giant world) which acts as a fortress with defensive measures and a trading post where the player can meet with NPCs to buy and sell.
Players can also use a workbench to fully customize their guns as well as their power armor. Fallout 4 customization has reached a new high, every single object in the game is now to be said to have a purpose.

Every object can be converted into smaller substances that are required to build part such as a suppressor, grip etc. Fallout 4 is also the first ever Fallout to have the feature to swap out parts for your power suit creating a spectrum of freedom and customization.
Fallout 4 will be released on November 11th 2015 with a Pipboy Edition which includes a wearable Pipboy that is compatible with your phone. A Pipboy app is also available to tie in with the game. PC mods will be available for Xbox One.
